Sold out to the next Market of the FIVI in Piacenza, where the 501 locations have already been booked. Second only to Vinitaly for number of companies
It took only seven days to drain the 501 positions for the Wine Market of Independent Winegrowers FIVI in Piacenza, which thus became the second wine event in Italy for the number of participating companies. Registration for the event which will be held on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November, in the halls of Piacenza Expo are to begin on 17 July and were closed on the 25th, after only a week, saw that the seats were already sold out.
“We knew that the anticipation was great – highlights Walter Massa, vice president of the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers – but it has surprised even us is the speed with which we have assigned all the stations. I, myself, was joking with the other directors, I said that I would be writing only if I could be the 501esimo! The growing success of previous editions, has made it clear to our members and consumers the importance of this event which, now in its seventh edition, has emerged now as one of the greatest events in the world of wine in Italy, second only to the Vinitaly, obviously unattainable, and the number of wineries pith”. Last year exhibitors at Piacenza were 424 with over 9000 visitors in two days of the Market.
“I think – adds Mass – which this success is attributable not only to the event itself, but more in general to the spirit FIVI. Consumers have learned by now to know us, to recognize our values and what we believe in and know how much commitment there is in our work and in the wine that we produce”.
